SNOA provides field officials, chain crews, and clock operators for all high school football games in the Southern Nevada area. SNOA also provides field officials for CCSD Girl's Flag Football, youth football, middle school football and recreational flag football programs. Traditionally, we have also provided officials for a Thanksgiving tournament that brings teams from all over the country to compete during that weekend.
Eligibility: Membership shall be available to any person interested in football officiating provided he/she fulfills the requirements of membership and has complied with the ethical standards of the Association. On-field football officials must be 18 years or older and out of high school. They are required to attend meetings and scrimmages for training and evaluation. They also must pass a background check conducted through the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) and pass a test prepared by the National Federation.
Football Board: SNOA Football is run by a 3 - member Board, elected by the certified football membership, elections are held prior to each season with those elected to 3-year term. The board then elects a Chairman.
